Financial Times Ranking 2010
Manchester Business School (MBS) remains well-placed in the Financial Times’ ranking of the world’s leading business schools.
Over the last three years the FT ranks MBS at an average position of 31, and our full-time doctoral programme is rated 2nd in the world.
We are 7th in the world for international experience, with a career progression rating of 11th in the world – MBS graduates can expect a salary rise of over 90%.
And our knowledge of international business is rated 8th best in the world.
An interview with Professor Michael Luger (pictured) in the rankings supplement, confirms MBS’ strong commitment to putting in place the foundations for long-lasting, positive change.
“We are committed to amplifying what MBS does well. Many of the positive changes we have made over recent years will not yet have impacted the rankings tables. The appointment of Professor Elaine Ferneley as MBA Director in 2009 is a further step toward a bold new positioning of our MBA programme, in keeping with the School’s overall proposition Original Thinking Applied.
“Our vision is to evolve a rigorously tough programme which will fully equip our graduates to handle the challenges of a fast-changing global economic climate; our promotional messaging will increasingly encourage self-selection in order that we are able to attract only the very best.
