ファイナンシャルタイムズのGlobal MBA 2009が発表になったようです。

マンチェスタービジネススクールは残念ながら10ほど順位を落として32位となったようです。MBSのサイトには以下のようなコメントが載っていました。
Financial Times Ranking 2009
Manchester Business School (MBS) is placed 32nd in the Financial Times’ ranking of the world’s leading business schools, published today (Monday 26 January). This is a drop of 10 places globally and is primarily a reflection of The FT’s methodology, which focuses largely on average weighted salary and salary percentage increase.
Whilst this is of course disappointing the result confirms for us some of the areas we are already working to improve – such as our relationship with alumni and the emphasis we place on external relations.
By some indicators we do very well – for instance MBS’ doctoral programme remains 1st in the world for the second year running. And we have achieved a higher ranking in the all-important category of MBA career progression – world 7th – up three places from 2008.
Our performance is in keeping with that of the majority of other leading UK schools. Indeed the minimal degrees of separation between our peers is unprecedented and could not have been anticipated.
It is important that whilst addressing the factors we want to change, to positively influence the criteria of highly-regarded rankings, we retain our perspective. Over the last three years The FT ranks us at an average position of 25. Our mission is to be consistently rated amongst the top 20 schools globally.

卒業後の給料およびその上昇率を重視する最近のランキングの算出方法を反映した結果である、みたいなことが書かれていますが、他のUKのスクールも全体的には順位を落としているようですので、最近のポンド安を一部は反映しているのかもしれません（いつ時点の為替レートを使って計算しているんですかね？）。もちろん給与関係の指標自体が相対的には低下してしまったのが主因なのでしょうが。
卒業して1年弱が経ちますが、この間本当にいろいろなことがありました。あっという間の1年だったなとも思いますし、まだ1年しか経ってないんだな、とも思います。不思議な感じ。
いずれにしろ留学していたのは遠い昔のような気がします。
